Interesting things to do in Washington – 2017

When it comes to things to do, Washington has it all!  There is always something going on, all over the state.  Spend some time browsing the hundreds of events, and you’ll be sure to find at least a few to add to your bucket list!  To make things a bit easier, we’ve picked a few of our favorites for you to check out this year.

1. For the music lovers, there are great festivals happening year round.  One of our favorites is the four day Wintergrass festival help in Bellevue Washington.  Featuring performances and workshops about bluegrass music, there’s much to see in such a short time!

 2. There’s nothing like fresh seafood you can eat while enjoying the ocean’s breezes.  The Penn Cove MussleFest features unbelievable flavors, live music, and beautiful artwork, all in one scenic place!  Things don’t get much better than this.

3. Around the state, you can attend festivals and events celebrating mother nature and her beautiful creations.  The bright star among these festivals is the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.  Held in Mount Vernon, Washington, come see millions of tulips blooming, signaling spring is here.  There’s nothing quite like it anywhere else in the world!

4. If you want to let loose and enjoy great beverages, you need to check out both the Northwest Tequila Fest, and the Bacon and Beer Classic, both held in Seattle.  Come taste the best brews and spirits the Northwest has to offer!
